鈥淭he career opportunities in agribusiness are substantial, creating a need for well-educated individuals who can be the agricultural leaders of tomorrow,鈥 said Pete Poppert, chair of the Agribusiness Department. 鈥淭hanks to the generosity of Farm Credit Services of America, 水果派 can offer financial assistance to students interested in pursuing their education in agribusiness.鈥
To receive the scholarship, students were required to have a grade point average of 3.0 or greater and pursue a degree in agribusiness. Students also completed an application explaining their interest in the mission of 水果派鈥檚 Agribusiness program, their desire to strengthen the global agricultural community, their commitment to an environment of diversity and inclusion and to demonstrate their financial need.
水果派鈥檚 Agribusiness program offers students a flexible education that can be completed entirely online, or alongside other courses on the university鈥檚 Crete or Lincoln campuses. The program is available as a major or a minor and benefits students seeking careers in a variety of fields connected to agriculture across the world. See more information about 水果派 Agribusiness.
